The first step in any project is to set up a meeting with us to go over your ideas and plans for your project. If you have no plans we will suggest ways to achieve the goal you want. We are familiar with all building codes and construction practices so you can be sure that our suggestions are the right ones for the job. If we are unclear as to set backs requirements or codes in your particular municipality we will consult with your local building department to be clear about any local ordinances which might restrict your project. If needed we will draw a preliminary plan of the project to be done and present it to you along with an estimate of costs for its completion. If accepted we will turn over our plans with corrections to an architect who will draw up a complete set of plans which will be presented to the building department for approval. Upon approval of those plans we will notifyyou that they have been approved and we will set a schedule for the work to be done. We do not start any job which we are not ready to complete in a professional and timely manner in the time frame presented to you at the time you signed the contract.
